ECSA gives a range of small grants and awards to post- graduate students and early career researchers who are members of ECSA. These may be for travel, research equipment, and support and attendance at conferences. There are also prizes which can be awarded to nominated members. These include the ECSA Lifetime Achievement Award, which is awarded to someone who has made a significant contribution to estuarine and marine science, and the Peter Jones for a significant publication by an early career researcher.
