These instructions provide guidance for new members wishing to become an ECSA member. You can access the membership subscription form here.
If you are an existing member wishing to renew, please log in and go to the Membership Renewals page.
Please note that if you are from a country in columns 1 to 3 of the OECD DAC list you may pay a special reduced rate - see here for details.
Note: Students - please provide some proof of current student status and send this to the membership-secretary [at] ecsa.international (Membership Secretary) so your application can be processed.
There are four possible ways you can pay your subscription and join ECSA:

Payment here on the ECSA website by Paypal
- Complete the new membership subscription form to create a new member account. Further instructions will be emailed to you.
- Pay via Paypal with debit/credit card or your PayPal account. You will receive an acknowledgement email.
- When payment is confirmed you will be able to access the member content of the website and maintain your contact details.

Standing (Banker’s) Order for payment from a UK bank account (for a regular annual payment)
- Complete the new membership subscription form
- When you select payment by standing order, you will be sent the ECSA bank details and a link to the standing order form to instruct your bank that you wish to set up a standing order for the correct amount for the membership fee.
- Send confirmation of your request to set up a standing order to the Membership Secretary via email.
- Once the Membership Secretary has received all the relevant information, the applicant will receive a confirmatory email with a membership number.
- You will then be able to access the member content of the website and maintain your contact details.

Bank transfer
- Complete the new membership subscription form
- When you select payment by bank transfer, you will be given the ECSA bank details so that you can instruct your bank that you wish to transfer the correct amount for the membership fee. Please note that the membership fees are quoted in pounds sterling, and payment in other currencies should be at the equivalent rate.
- Send confirmation of your request to set up a bank transfer to the Membership Secretary via email.
- Once the Membership Secretary has received all the relevant information, the applicant will receive a confirmatory email with a membership number.
- You will then be able to access the member content of the website and maintain your contact details.
- If making a transfer from a non-UK bank please make sure the payment instruction to your bank includes a descriptor with the name of the member for whom payment is being made.

Cash/Cheque in Pounds Sterling
- These may be used if joining at meetings, and payment should be handed to a member of ECSA Council or designated meeting organiser.
- The applicant must complete the new membership subscription form and confirm the payment method to the Membership Secretary by email.
- Once the Membership Secretary has received all the relevant information, the applicant will receive a confirmatory email with a membership number.
- You will then be able to access the member content of the website and maintain your contact details.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Students - please remember to provide some proof of student status to the membership Secretary at the time of application.
- Sponsoring and Institutional members - A representative of the institution may complete the new membership subscription form. If the contact person for the institute is not to be the person who completes the application, please inform the Membership Secretary or use the contact form.
- If there are problems with any of the above approaches, please contact the Membership Secretary.
- Please note that you do not need a Paypal account to use the online payment facility.
