ECSA’s Council oversees the Society’s affairs and finances, and members are elected to cover a broad range of skills and experience. Full details can be found in the ECSA Constitution.
Council consists of the President, President-Elect, various officers and elected members. The Secretary assists with the administration of the Society and deals with correspondence.
The Treasurer manages the finances and produces the financial statement and trustees report each year. These are reviewed by an Independent Auditor in accordance with the rules of the Charity Commission, and are presented to the membership at the AGM.
Council consists of the main officers of the Society and elected members. The elected members each serve a term of three years so that three members retire and three new members are elected each year.
Members may propose others for membership of Council using the Council Nomination Form.
