ECSA Focus meeting / EUROLAG9: Future vision and knowledge needs for coastal transitional environments

20 January 2020 to 24 January 2020
Venice, Italy

The 9th EUROLAG conference on coastal lagoons and transitional environments will be held in the historic island of Venice (Italy) on 20-24 January 2020. The five day conference is devoted to science, research and management issues that are related to lagoons and transitional areas.

The conference is being organized by the Institute of Marine Sciences (ISMAR) of the Italian National Research Council, the Consortium for Lagoon Research (Corila), and the University of Venice Ca’ Foscari.

In addition to the excellent coastal lagoon science content, special guided visits to Venice will be arranged, as well as an exclusive, private (no tourists!) visit to the San Marco Basilica prior to the conference dinner.

We look forward to the participation of international colleagues from all over the world who work on coastal lagoons.

Please find more information on the conference and submit your abstracts here by 20 October 2019.

The venue Scuola Grande di San Marco, will only hold a maximum of 200 people, so please also register as soon as possible.
