A Strategic Goal for the ReMeMaRe intiative is to source innovative funding through a blended model of public, private and third sector investment to maximise restoration activity.
We have now complied a paper that details a theoretical bid for a 'Blue Recovery Fund' for restoring estuaries and coasts (aligned with ReMeMaRe), funded over 4 years with benefits that will extend over a 40-year period.

A joint report funded by The Crown Estate and Blue Marine Foundation and led by Finance Earth and Pollination, aims to build consensus around the key barriers and solutions to high-integrity marine natural capital markets (or nature markets) to unlock investment in the restoration of marine and coastal ecosystems.
