Baltic Sea Science Congress (BSSC) is the largest regularly held international forum addressing the multidisciplinary issues of the Baltic Sea research.
Overarching theme: the issues of sustainable use of the ecosystem services of the European regional seas.
The BSSC 10 programme will preliminarily include the topics relevant to achieving sustainability of different ecosystem services, specific questions of protection of marine environment and biological diversity in the shelf seas, adaptation to the impact of changing climate, maritime spatial planning and integrated coastal management as well as the questions related to enhancement of the trans-national marine observation and data handling system.
