Wednesday 6 November 2013 to Saturday 9 November 2013
Lisbon
Portugal

The session will be presented by 3 keynote speakers from ECSA with expertise in estuarine hydrodynamics, contaminant processes and ecology. They will outline current knowledge and tools for understanding and predicting changing hydrodynamics in estuarine systems and explore the implications this may have for the fate of contaminants and nutrients and the ecological status of estuaries

The presentations will be followed by a discussion of the gaps in scientific and technical knowledge and the short- to medium-term consequences for management. There will also be a poster/oral session dedicated to the theme.

Three speakers (preferably ECSA members) with expertise in 1) estuarine hydrodynamics, 2) contaminant processes and 3) estuarine ecology
