“Global actions to beat marine pollution – what is being done and is it working?”

As part of the Ocean Decade Laboratory series ‘A healthy and Resilient Ocean’ The Estuarine and Coastal Sciences Association (ECSA) is hosting an international discussion on Friday 11th March 2022 (tomorrow) between 11-1pm CET (or 10-12 noon UK time) entitled;

“Global actions to beat marine pollution – what is being done and is it working?”

Speakers will include Dr Kay Critchell of Deakin University, Australia, Dr Roland Cormier from Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Prof Mike Elliott, University of Hull, UK, and Dr Salom Gnana Thanga Vincent of the University of Kerala in India. They will discuss what we can do to improve marine pollution management and prevention in their region and the subsequent discussion will be facilitated by Professor Teresa Fernandes, Heriot Watt University, UK and Dr Gillian Glegg, University of Plymouth, UK.
